About the Position Reporting to the Director of EAS/ITS, the Assistant Director of Student & Faculty Systems supervises the Student & Faculty Systems Team (SFS). This position is vital in ensuring the maintenance of essential campus applications, spearheading initiatives, and engaging with stakeholders to develop technical and functional solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Directs staff, establishes priorities, reviews deliverables, analyzes departmental workflow, sets deadlines, and develops standards.
- Consults with users, managers, vendors, and technicians to assess system requirements and functionality.
- Together with other supervisors, evaluates technology and campus needs and recommends improvements to stakeholders and the University.
- Participate in campus-wide IT projects.

- Directs the Application Support Team on system configurations based on the department's business processes. Responsible for assigning employee workloads, priorities, and work expectations to ensure appropriate personnel are available to support enterprise-wide applications and projects that align with the University's Strategic Plan, Vision, and Strategic Goals. - Management duties include:
- Directing, hiring, and training employees
