Job Description

Hourly rate: $25-$35 hourly depending on experience. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to work at one of our facilities. As part of your job, you will be tasked with all maintenance functions, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment, while promoting and practicing safety at all times. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of plant equipment by finding ways to eliminate unscheduled downtime and improve efficiency. You will be responsible for:

• Maintaining and repairing all production equipment and the industrial facility.
• Improving on existing equipment
• Working independently and as a team member
• Disassembling machines and/or installing new parts or equipment and their reassembly
• Installing, programing, or repairing automated machinery and equipment
• Cleaning and performing preventative maintenance on equipment
• Performing electrical work as directed by Manager
• Repairing and maintaining the physical structure of the facility
• Operating a cutting torch or welding equipment
• Updating and maintaining accurate maintenance records
• Maintaining the work area in 5S condition

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

• Have a 1-year certificate from a college or technical school
• Have 3-4 years related experience and/or training in an industrial maintenance environment
• Demonstrate mechanical and electrical skills
• Have excellent written, reading comprehension and math skills
• Exhibit the ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Demonstrate the ability to read and understand blueprints and/or schematic drawings to determine the proper work procedures and assembly requirements
• Have direct knowledge of how to troubleshoot, repair and maintain pumps, mixers, and processing equipment
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:

• Experience setting up and operating various tools
• Problem-solving skills
• Forklift experience
• Conduit bending, stick welding, mig welding and tig welding
• Cutting torch and pipe threading experience
• Previous experience in the ink industry
