We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Software Engineer with a strong interest in the design, development and maintenance of full-stack, AI-based enterprise applications to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing software solutions and solving complex problems, in support of the customer mission. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and validate software product(s). This position will be onsite in Tysons Corner, VA.

What You Will Do:

• Develop and deploy full-stack, AI-based enterprise applications on the AI Platform
• Test, troubleshoot, and enhance customer software applications with and on behalf of customers
• Identify application performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations
• Conduct design and development reviews of customer software applications
• Write application specifications and documentation

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance or higher is required
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• 5 or more years of software development experience in object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms and web application development.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Over 2 years of experience in JavaScript (with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue) and Python, with proficiency in Git and Agile methodologies.
• Experience deploying software on cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and solving complex problems, including time-series data analysis and optimization.
• Experience enhancing processes, systems, or products and working autonomously with minimal oversight.
• Experience mentoring and reviewing work of junior developers, with the ability to address multi-faceted challenges across work areas.
• Existing U.S. Secret or TS/SCI Poly (CI or FS) clearance is highly preferred.
