Caregiver – Part-Time (Weekdays & Weekend)

Location: West Allis, WI 53214
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Saturday: 3:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Job Type: Part-time

Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to provide in-home support for a client in West Allis. This position involves assisting with personal care, companionship, and daily living activities while ensuring the client’s comfort and safety.

Responsibilities:

•  Assist with bathing and showering 
•  Provide companionship and emotional support 
•  Assist with dressing and personal grooming 
•  Provide incontinence care 
•  Prepare simple meals 
•  Perform light housekeeping tasks 
•  Help maintain a safe and clean home environment 
•  Assist with scheduling physician and laboratory appointments 
•  Provide mobility support and assist with client transfers as needed 

Client Information:

•  Client has mild dementia 
•  Client has a dog in the home 

Qualifications:

•  Previous caregiving experience is preferred 
•  Experience with incontinence care is preferred 
•  Ability to assist clients with mobility and physical support needs 
•  Comfortable working in a home with a dog 
•  Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation 
•  Compassionate, dependable, and able to communicate effectively
