The Role

Flexera seeks a Senior FinOps Consultant to drive the successful implementation and adoption of our FinOps solutions. This role combines technical expertise with strong consultative skills to deliver exceptional customer outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud financial management, cost optimization, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business value.

The Product:

Flexera One offers a comprehensive approach to FinOps, facilitating collaboration between cloud governance teams and business units to optimize cloud spending. This includes identifying savings opportunities, implementing optimizations, and automating processes across the cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• FinOps Implementation: Lead the implementation of Flexera's FinOps solutions, aligning with customer business objectives and financial goals
• Data Analysis: Analyze cloud cost data to identify cost optimization opportunities and provide actionable insights to customers
• Process Optimization: Assist customers in developing and implementing FinOps processes and workflows to improve financial management
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance on integrating Flexera's solutions with customer environments and systems
• Customer Success: Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term success
• Knowledge Transfer: Share best practices and knowledge with customers and internal teams to foster FinOps adoption
• Solution Design: Contribute to the development of FinOps solutions and services to meet evolving customer needs

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and financial management principles
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools to extract insights from cloud cost data
• Proven ability to implement and configure enterprise software solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex customer challenges
• Experience with FinOps frameworks and methodologies
• Certifications in cloud computing, financial management, or project management
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for data analysis and automation
• Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools
