QA Software Engineer

Competences

• Verify that our product's firmware is ready to go into production
• Check that the firmware has the correct software versions
• Verify that the permissions of certain files are correct
• Analysis and development of automated tests to verify product functionality
• Analysis and development of test environments

Technical Knowledge

MUST-HAVES

• Minimum testing experience >= 2 years
• Experience in functional test automation
• Linux and bash scripting knowledge
• Python knowledge (for certain automations)

 

NICE TO HAVES

• Binary analysis
• Knowledge as Linux Systems Engineer in the embedded area
• Knowledge of networking and development in C/C++ and/or Python 
• Knowledge of BDD testing tools such as Behave and Robot Framework
• Knowledge of Gherkin language for test definition
• Experience with Jira and Xray for test management
• Experience with Yocto and cross-compilation of binaries for different platforms
