Development and Stewardship Assistant for Bay Area

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports donor recognition initiatives with administrative support.
- Draft, edit, and distribute correspondence, including letters and memorandums.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail for the assigned fundraiser(s).
- Maintain and update the donor database with accuracy.
- Research donor information to support fundraising efforts.
- Compile and analyze donor-related statistics.
- Generate, manage, and run reports and queries within the database.
- Coordinate donor engagement efforts, including birthday, holiday, and thank-you cards.
- Assist in creating, editing, and preparing marketing campaigns, touch points and solicitation materials.
- Process and track check requests for the Development team.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel (e.g., data analysis, formulas, pivot tables, charts) is required.
- Experience with Canva is also essential, particularly for creating visually compelling presentations, reports, or marketing materials. Proficiency with design in Canva or similar products.
Preferred Experience:
- College degree.
- Minimum of two years of experience as an Administrative or Program Assistant.
- Experience with a CRM system

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (usually file boxes)
