The Information Technology Division manages the technology infrastructure which supports business operations: including personal computers, laptops, servers, printers, the internal network which connects them all, telephones, smartphones, and conference room equipment.  By providing direct support to end users via the IT Service Desk, onsite office and jobsite support, and Training Classes IT supports application software (purchased such as Oracle, Primavera, Microsoft, and custom-written applications such as ORCMS, PTS, IEH, etc.).

Job Description Summary

By providing direct support to end users via the IT Service Desk, onsite office and jobsite support, and Training Classes IT supports application software (purchased such as Oracle, Primavera, Microsoft, and custom-written applications such as ORCMS, PTS, IEH, etc.).

The Senior Manager, Information Technology coordinates, oversees, and manages all aspects of multiple simultaneous information technology projects and system operations within a division or across multiple work groups.

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Participates in making division, department, and organization-wide information technology recommendations to the appropriate director.
  • Supervises assigned information technology employees within a division or work group.
  • Generates various senior management reports.
  • Manages information technology consultants.
  • Participates in the Request for Proposals (RFP) process regarding information technology subjects.
  • Performs the duties of assigned staff when necessary.
  • Performs specific duties based on assignment to a division within the Information Technology Department.
  • Performs related tasks. 

Preferred Skills

  • Expert knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and articulation skills.
  • Detail-oriented team player with strong soft skills; able to follow processes meticulously.
  • Expert-level proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Proven experience working with IT delivery teams to identify and remove blockers efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and manage executives and stakeholders.
  • Skilled in producing content appropriate for executive-level meetings.
  • Experience managing small to medium, and preferably large-scale, technology projects in fast-paced environments
  • Experience or knowledge in the construction management sector is a plus.

Salary Range: $122,358 - $185,000

Work Experience

Seven years of full time experience in telecommunications, systems analyses, systems development, or a related area, four years of which must have been in a supervisory or managerial capacity; or a satisfactory combination of education and experience. Candidates who do not possess a Baccalaureate degree will need an additional four years of full time experience in telecommunications, systems analyses, systems development, or a related area, resulting in ELEVEN years of full time experience required, FOUR of which must have been in a supervisory or managerial capacity. A Master’s/Doctoral degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Sciences, Computer Technology, Information Systems Technology, Computer Electrical Engineering, or a related field, including an MBA in the related fields, may substitute for two of the years of full time experience, resulting in FIVE years of full time experience required, FOUR of which must have been in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
