Nurse Manager, Outpatient Pediatrics

Piedmont Pediatrics of Charlottesville and Crozet, Virginia, is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and responsible Registered Nurse to lead and support our wonderful team of nurses and certified medical staff (CNAs, EMTs, MAs).  The Nursing Supervisor oversees day-to-day nursing operations in our busy outpatient pediatric offices and is an important part of the leadership team. Piedmont Pediatrics values the ability of all team members, and most especially its leaders, to anticipate and adjust to the changing needs of the practice and bring new ideas to the table.

The role requires:

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Virginia, preferably with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a bachelor's degree in a related field
• Supervisory experience
• Excellent pediatric clinical skills, knowledge, and experience
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, team-oriented setting that focuses on providing personalized and comprehensive care
• Working full-time and on-site in either office location
• Excellent communication and computer skills

The general scope of job duties includes, but is not limited to:

• Actively managing patient care team members which includes staff scheduling, recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Understanding and enforcing compliance with regulations impacting clinical care, including HIPAA and OSHA.
• Working collaboratively with the Clinical Operations Director, providers, and all administrative and support teams.
• Managing the vaccine program and medical supply inventory.
• Serving as a positive role model for all clinic employees related to work ethic, appearance, promptness and dependability, enhancing work environment by demonstrating a positive and professional attitude.
