Summary:
Securly is looking for a highly motivated Customer Education Specialist to design content and deliver internal and customer-facing trainings, both virtual and in person.
Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, you will first master Securly products and understand the needs of our customers. Then, you will break down concepts and best practices into easy-to-understand educational materials to teach our customers how to best use our products. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for teaching and helping others learn and achieve their goals.
This is a new role within our company and will change over time as the team grows and initiatives change.
What You Will Do:
- Create customer-facing training materials that are easily digestible and engaging, including videos, audio recordings, learning paths, quizzes, infographics, etc.
- Identify ways to educate various customer personas such as admins, teachers and other end users
- Create courses and learning pathways
- Grow our customers educational materials, ensuring content is organized and searchable
- Deliver internal and client-facing training and webinars that are easy to absorb and address a wide variety of business and technical uses
- Manage end-to-end training events and logistics, including upfront registration, communication, enrollment, event planning, materials management, onsite logistics, and post-course evaluations
- Work closely with product teams to ensure training curricula is always up-to-date and capture new features as needed
KPIs
- Completion of initiatives to improve quality, reliability, and repeatability of services.
- Delivery metrics (i.e., customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, utilization).
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in education
- Deep understanding and experience designing and delivering professional development for K12 audiences (Teachers/Administration and other staff)
- Experience in a similar role in the professional services environment
- Basic understanding of instructional design principles such as ADDIE
- Self-starter with an established track record of effectively managing multiple projects and deadlines and working in a dynamic, fast-paced, team environment
- Ability to write clear, engaging, and effective training content
- Experience using a Learning Management System to keep training content organized
- Experience using basic video and audio editing software
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively manage priorities
- Experience using data to inform and continually adjust content management and delivery
- Exceptional presentation skills
