Job Description Summary:

The Head of Client and Partner Platforms is a member of the leadership team for WM Digital Services. This position is responsible for the end-to-end management of WM dedicated platforms, platform value proposition, ongoing enhancement, maintenance, integration with new tools and applications that are being developed, and integration with the systems outside of WM. Develops and manages platform vision and roadmap, budgets, negotiations with partners and vendors, and authorization of the release of new platform capabilities. Defines and monitors platform maturity goals, service levels and performance metrics. Serves as the single point of contact for all matters regarding the respective platforms. Provides leadership and direction through managers. Is accountable for the performance and results of a division. Executes business plans and contributes to the development of functional strategy. Decisions are guided by functional or major operational segment strategy and priorities.

Major Duties:

  • Ensure teams in its product group get the support they need from the Enterprise in order to succeed in support of key strategic business initiatives for Wealth Management. 

  • Deeply understand how the visions and roadmaps of the teams in your group will affect the broader Wealth Management business and vice versa. 

  • Identify cross capability dependencies and ensure that teams are working towards mutually beneficial outcomes 

  • Build lasting relationships with key Wealth Management executive stakeholders. Influence enterprise decision makers and manage enterprise stakeholders in order to achieve group objectives. 

  • Say No wisely to Wealth Management stakeholders so that new strategically important priorities are only introduced by radically deprioritizing existing work, with all its attendant costs. Coordinate and collaborate with other Group Product Managers to make decisions about which strategic projects to take on from the broader WM business. 

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding how all of the Wealth Management practices are evolving 

  • Decide in conjunction with business stakeholders the relative priority of strategic business and risk-related initiatives. 

  • Role model mastery of servant leadership, empowering and coaching others, effective collaboration, clear communication, creating psychological safety, and continuous learning.
