Pay Range
$84,200-$96,893/year
Compensation is determined by several factors, including location, relevant experience, skill level, and internal equity. Please note, we don’t typically hire above midpoint.

Job Description
The Duty Manager, Towing Operation leads the safe and successful execution of station operations during assigned shifts by providing operational leadership, developing frontline leaders, and ensuring exceptional service for customers and business partners. This role oversees daily operational performance, drives continuous improvement, and exercises independent judgment to address changing operational priorities while fostering an engaged, inclusive, and high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall operational leadership during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable execution of station operations.
- Make timely decisions to address operational challenges, staffing needs, irregular operations, and changing business priorities while balancing safety, service, and operational performance.
- Coordinate resources across workgroups to achieve operational objectives and customer commitments.
- Direct, coach, and develop Operational Supervisors while providing guidance, support, and accountability for frontline leadership.
- Build an inclusive, engaged, and high-performing team culture through regular coaching, recognition, performance management, and development conversations.
- Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with company policies, customer requirements, regulatory standards, and airport operating procedures.
- Lead investigations into operational events, safety concerns, service failures, and policy violations, implementing corrective actions and preventive solutions as appropriate.
- Conduct operational observations and audits to identify risks, improve processes, and reinforce operational standards.
- Monitor operational performance indicators and use data to identify trends, remove barriers, and improve efficiency, quality, and customer service.
- Partner with station leadership to implement operational initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and process enhancements.
- Prepare operational reports, improvement plans, and recommendations that support station goals.
- Perform departmental administrative duties, including preparing reports, maintaining records, tracking operational data, and completing other assigned administrative tasks.
- Maintain productive working relationships with customers, airport partners, vendors, and internal departments to support successful daily operations.
- Communicate operational priorities, performance, and emerging issues to station leadership while ensuring alignment across workgroups.
- Support business continuity during irregular operations through effective communication, coordination, and leadership.
- Develop team capabilities through coaching, mentoring, and by providing regular and meaningful feedback.
- Foster open and honest communication that creates an inclusive, engaging, and high-performance culture that demonstrates McGee's values of Safety, Integrity, Mutual Respect, Accountability and Pride.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support McGee’s successful business operation.
Qualifications
- 3 years of operational experience in the airline, aviation, transportation, or related industry.
- 1 year of leadership experience leading frontline teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple workgroups, prioritize competing demands, and make sound decisions under pressure.
