QA Automation SDET (JavaScript & Playwright))

Who we are

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, with a focus on test automation. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the highest quality of our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, create test plans, and contribute to the overall improvement of our testing processes.

 

What you'll be doing

 

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools
• Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand software requirements and design comprehensive test plans
• Execute and analyze automated test results, identifying and reporting issues and defects
• Work closely with manual testing teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Participate in the identification and implementation of test automation best practices
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process by providing feedback on areas of improvement
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in test automation tools and methodologies

 

What you'll bring along

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics/ or similar field of study/or equivalent working experience is required.
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience within software testing area.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript. 
• Proven experience in automation testing using Playwright, Azure DevOps, Jira, and the Microsoft Power Platform. 
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with continuous integration/delivery pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, analyze log files, and work with developers to resolve defects.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• ISTQB (or equivalent) Foundation Level certification is desirable.
• Knowledge of Scrum, Agile is essential.
• Good speaking capability in English.
