Job Description

Team & Role

Global Product Operations supports the operations of the Unified Technology Group (UTG) and Success, Technology, Experience, and Platform (STEP) organizations. Our Program Management Office drives and delivers cross-functional programs including Release Management, Release Big Rocks, Objectives & Key Results (OKRs), Platform Engineering, Global Cloud Services (GCS), Regulated Markets, Cloud Security, M&A, Customer Upgrade Operations, and other critical strategic programs. Our Technical Training & Enablement team provides training to enable thousands of employees across UTG and Product Management. Our Analytics team supports the quality and development of our products and platform releases as well as delivering support, operations, product experience, and usage data to UTG, STEP, and the P4.

 

 

What you get to do in this role:

Develop the overall prioritization, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria for large, complex cross organizational programs, projects, or OKRs

· Identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate risks to meet program objectives

· Work closely with software engineers, software architects, quality engineers, UX designers, executives to aligned on actionable goals, schedule, and milestones for specified projects.

· Generate new data needs and requirements to provide actionable insights to senior leadership

· Host executive-level meetings and large cross-functional events

· Simplify complex issues into a crisp, actionable exec-level status

· Provide a proactive, strategic perspective on improvements to the business, SDLC or infrastructure processes

· Analyze trends and data and create reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to senior leadership using ServiceNow tools

· Coordinate the day-to-day activities required to deliver a high-quality product on time

· Host regular release meetings & executive read-outs; deliver crisp status updates to all stakeholders and senior leadership

· Partner with Engineering Leaders, Platform Architects, and Product Managers to plan and prioritize work

· Work with Stakeholders to understand requirements and negotiate solutions to issues

· Drive process improvements toward the consistent successful delivery of working product

· Engage the teams on multiple levels of planning and execution from release, to milestone, to sometimes even sprint-level

· Identify and manage cross-team collaboration and dependencies across a global organization

· Remove impediments to delivery of the initiatives through abilities to influence without authority

· Support the teams internal and external visibility to progress, status, timelines, risks and achievements

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Able to build solid, trusting relationships with executives, development teams, product management, stakeholders, and cross-functional development groups

  • Proven ability to lead through influence

  • Successful experience communicating with executive level leaders
