Freelance Graphics Designer (Social Media & Web)

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Freelance Graphics Designer (Social Media & Web) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing engaging social media content, landing pages, and marketing materials, while ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.

As a Freelance Graphics Designer, you will manage various design tasks, from social media posts to website updates, collaborating closely with our team to deliver high-quality visuals that align with our brand guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design social media content (5 posts, 10 stories, 1 infographic per week) using Canva.
• Create and update landing pages using Elementor.
• Edit app demos and other visuals in Figma.
• Maintain strict branding guidelines across all design projects.
• Collaborate with the team to design marketing materials such as one-pagers and partner collateral.
• Manage design tasks using Google Sheets and communicate via Slack.
• Ensure social media posts are published according to a strict schedule.
• Work on ad hoc design projects like sales collateral and web updates.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in graphic design, particularly in social media and branding.
• Proficiency in Canva, Figma, and Google Sheets/Slides.
• Experience with social media scheduling tools like Hootsuite. 
• Experience working with video - editing short and long-form clips in Canva - “Day in the Life/Client Testimonials.”
• Experience with Elementor is an asset.
• CSS proficiency is an asset. 
• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work, especially in social media.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments, preferably within the technology or startup sectors.
• Ability to follow brand guidelines and produce high-quality designs under tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Time Commitment:
20 hours per week with strict deadlines for social media posts and flexible deadlines for other projects.
