Software Engineer

Introduction to the job

The Greenhouse project is creating a state-of-the art software development environment for a user community of >4000 developers. Project teams work on designing and implementing new capabilities and migrating teams and user groups to the new Workplace, Build, CICD, SCM, Software Integration and Cloud capabilities. Platforms selected are Bazel, GitHub, GitHub Actions, GCP.

Role and responsibilities

Your role comprises multidisciplinary technical work:

• designing, implementing and testing solutions
• enabling migration activities

Education and experience

Education: Software Engineering (or similar), MSc.

Experience:

• Software development within complex environments is a plus
• Strong software engineering background, generic programming skills (e.g. C, C++, Python)
• Requirements engineering, design and architectural knowledge and experience
• Experience with the target platforms is a plus.

Skills

• Strong communications skills and user focus
• T-Shape profile, willingness to do different assignments with different technology stacks, tools and user groups
• Team player

Other information

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
