Job Purpose

We’re hiring a new manager to support the Plan/Asset Management digital portfolio for NE Electric. This role will be responsible for shifting the team from technology delivery to setting clear business priorities and strategy with the IT teams accountable for delivery. This role is responsible for ensuring we have the appropriate people, process, and technology to transform how we plan for the electric network of the future.

Key Accountabilities

This person will be responsible for supporting the Business Owner and Product leads in an agile release train (team of teams) to ensure the technology roadmap is aligned to business capabilities and outcomes.

• Partner with NE Electric leadership to set strategy and outcomes and work with IT to ensure work is appropriately prioritized
• Embed digital roadmaps into existing business transformation plans
• Mature Business Owner role and expectations, working with them to ensure business priorities are clear and value is being realized
• Manage a team of business strategists, aligned to individual cross-functional agile teams in IT and supporting the functional business strategy
• Ensure strong change management in place, processes are being reimagined, and changes are adopted
• Work closely with business and IT leaders and agile teams as well as functional groups like change management and process
• Ensures outcomes are delivered and benefits realized
• Ability to lead and motivate team driving transformational change
• General understanding of agile practices and change management
• Effective communication across all levels of the organization from front line to executive leadership

 

Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required

• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to identify and fully engage all key stakeholders.
• Excellent influencing skills at senior levels.
• Excellent inter-personal skills, including strong written and verbal communication ability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or engineering

Salary

$144,000 - $169,000 a year

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
