Summary:
An Advanced Scheduling Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing scheduling processes and systems in a shared services setting, ensuring the configuration of the UKG Dimensions module within the HCM team of the Shared Business Operations (SBO).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Scheduling Management: Managing the scheduling processes for employee based timekeeping systems.
     System Optimization: Identifying opportunities to optimize scheduling processes and systems to improve efficiency, reduce wait times, and enhance the patient experience.
  •  Data Management: Managing scheduling data, understanding scheduling needs and complex requirements for a Healthcare organization
  •  Compliance: Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and policies related to scheduling, patient care, and privacy.
  • Reporting: Preparing and distributing reports related to scheduling, including appointment reports, provider schedules, and resource utilization reports.
     Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve scheduling processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  • User Support: Providing support to employees regarding scheduling policies and procedures.
  • Training and Development: Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to scheduling and healthcare operations.
  • Analytics: Analyzing scheduling data to identify trends and patterns, and developing insights to improve scheduling processes.


Qualifications

  • Required Education: High school diploma
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Required Experience: Five (5) years of experience in Payroll or Timekeeping systems, shared services or similar environment required
  • Preferred License/Registration/Certification: Six Sigma
  • Computer Skills Required: Google Suite preferred; willingness to learn Oracle and leverage the training, reporting, and process components to excel at role
