FRS VAK SOCCENT-IRAQ Position

Nightwing is seeking to hire a part-time employee to work as a PT VAK Field Service Representative (FSR) in support of a DoD contract providing technical equipment advisory and support for SOCCENT-Iraq. 

Job Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: 

• Mentor and advise senior military personnel on various equipment, technical capabilities and employment Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs)
• Assist in the development and implementation of Concepts of Operations (CONOPs)
• Provide sustainment training as needed on specialized technical equipment Coordination with SOG headquarters for specialized program support

** Candidates must have an Active Top Secret Clearance

Experience required:

• Retired or former Special Operations soldier with 5+ years of United States military experience in a similar capacity
• Recent combat experience
• Experience with or technical information collection equipment to support War on Terrorism goals
• Experience with web-based applications including, but not limited to: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, and various viewing software programs such as: FalconView, Google Earth, C2PC, Streets and Trips, and Map Point
• The ability to travel independently and operate for periods of time without supervision Must be able to transport a 35 pound load with no assistance
• CONUS and OCONUS travel requirements to support Unit 2

**Must have an active and current Top Secret clearance

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.  U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Typically requires:

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience

Engineering/Other Technical Positions:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
