Engineering Associate (Tier 1) (CIP Inspections)

Job Overview

This position performs paraprofessional engineering related work involving the investigation, evaluation, assessment, asset management, planning, writing reports, coordinating work, or inspection of public infrastructure and systems. This position works under the supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer. Project management responsibility involves infrastructure projects.

Salary

$51,313 - $89,835

In addition to these core competencies, the candidate must have a strong ability to read and interpret construction plans, technical specifications, and related manuals.  This skill is essential for identifying potential issues, ensuring compliance with regulations, and guiding projects to successful completion.

Experience in utility construction inspection is crucial. The candidate should be well-versed in industry standards and best practices, with a proven track record of overseeing utility installations, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest quality standards.  Their hands-on experience will enable them to anticipate challenges, provide actionable solutions, and ensure that projects are executed smoothly from start to finish.
