As a Logistics and Shipping Coordinator, you will be a strategic, tactical business and strong back-up partner with Supply Chain, Buyer and Product. This is a role that is fully integrated into Supply Chain team involving pro-active collaboration and communication with the entire team. You will fully understand the product and business; be Inquisitive and solution oriented. You will establish supplier relationships and understand their processes.

 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:

• Coordinate with Logistics Leaders, Supply Chain Leaders, Product Developers and Vendors to ensure products are produced On-Time
• Ensure all parties are clear on key timeline deliverables and track accordingly
• Management Inbound and outbound business via air-freight and ocean-freight with Global logistics team and vendors
• Ensure timely delivery for all the goods with 3PL and Warehousing Parties / Carrier and Global Freight Forwarders / Brokers
• Assist in backlog recovery planning and communication to Supply Planning
• Interface with suppliers to uncover and resolve issues
• Communicating with internal parties

 WHAT YOU NEED TO WIN:

• Prefer experience in bicycle or other consumer/recreation-related industry
• Requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organization skills. Competent with time management, deadlines, multiple projects and the ability to handle frequent interruptions
• Good working experience with logistics and shipping will helpful
• Attitude that fosters continuous improvement
• Frequent face to face interaction with Asian supply base
• Self-motivated. Able to work with or without close supervision
• Excellent computer skills including Windows, Word and Excel
• Experience with Oracle a plus
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related field
