Job Description

EAG Laboratories is looking for an enthusiastic Analyst to join our dynamic Dual Beam group. Primary function would be sample preparation for imaging of client samples using Dual Beam FIB tools. The successful candidate will work as a part of a team and will have the opportunity to rapidly gain a working knowledge of many analytical techniques.

Work Schedule: Tues to Sat, 5pm-2am

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering or related field or equivalent industrial experience.
• Solid understanding of electron microscopy, semiconductor device physics and failure analysis.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
• Self-motivated, organized and interested in learning

What would set you apart:

• Experience in dual beam FIB and SEM operation
• Experience with TEM sample preparation
• In-depth knowledge and interpretative skills in one or more areas of electron microscopy
• High reliability, integrity, and conscientious attention to detail

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office or laboratory to access file cabinets, machinery, equipment etc.
• Ability to continuously operate a personal computer or lab equipment for extended periods of time (4 or more hours).
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time. 
• Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other lab equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overhead   
• Ability to speak and hear well enough to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting.
• Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions in the context of a workflow, ability to communicate with visitors, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.
