Dental Assistant, Certified/Registered

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Certified/Registered Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will assist our dentists in providing high-quality dental care to patients.

**Qualifications:**
- Certification/registration as a Dental Assistant
- X-ray certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail

**Responsibilities:**
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and taking X-rays
- Prepare examination and surgical rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring equipment is in working order
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Schedule patient appointments and assist with billing procedures
- Follow OSHA and HIPAA guidelines to ensure a safe and confidential environment
