Software Engineer - Senior - VG37146

TLA-LLC is seeking an experienced and talented Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. You will also provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Your responsibilities will include working closely with cross-functional teams to analyze user requirements, designing scalable and efficient solutions, and writing clean, maintainable code. You will also participate in code reviews, perform debugging and testing, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.

Requirements

• Current and active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Experience developing detailed design and associated deliverables.
• Demonstrated experience translating customer and system requirements into design.
• Hands-on experience developing Applications using the following technologies or something similar: SOLR, Elastic, Postgres, Java, Scala, RDS or spring boot.
• Experience working with relational and non-relational database systems such as Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, and Postgres.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with and troubleshooting of Internet and Web related protocols and technologies such as Tomcat, Nodejs, Web Services, or SSL.
• Developing JUnit and Jasmine tests.
• Experience with testing platforms such as Jest or Karma.
• Hands-on experience working with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Nexus

NOTE: The team needs a candidate that has proficiencies in Java, Web Services, and Spring Boot. In addition, skills related to cloud technologies (e.g. AWS) and Docker. Rotating pager duty required.
