POSITION SPECIFICS

POSITION SPECIFICSThe Department of Geosciences, in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar to design, conduct, and analyze deformation of the Earths crust in response to surface loads, active faults, and mass movements. The scholar will explore the implications of Earth deformation for rheological models of the crust and lithosphere. Candidate must have a Ph.D. in Geosciences or closely related field by appointment start date and should have a minimum of 4 years of postdoctoral experience in the study of active faults, slope failures, and the application of satellite remote sensing to Earth deformation.Applicants are encouraged to apply online at https://hr.psu.edu/careers.
