Summer Intern - Finance & Accounting

Possible Areas of Focus

• Accounting Operations: Assist with accounts payable/receivable, invoice processing, and journal entries.
• Reconciliations: Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and expense reports.
• Month-End Close: Support the team in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Financial Analysis: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and reviewing financial data for trends.
• Audit Support: Assist with gathering documentation for internal and external audits.
• Administration: Maintain organized digital and physical financial records. 

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).  Power BI or D365 is a plus.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, accuracy, strong written/verbal communication, and ability to handle confidential information.
