Job Description

Arthur Grand Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mainframe Application Architect  for one of our clients

Position: Application Architect

Location: Remote

Long Term contract

Description:

• Provide support and assistance to design, development, integrate, test, and deploy a modernized BMF platform and also support day-to-day Operations & Maintenance (O&M) work based on CLIENT priorities. Provide for project management, O&M, development, modernization, enhancements, software development, legislative changes, and developmental O&M upgrades.

Required skills/Level of Experience:

• At least 15 years of experience with Architectural frameworks and how to design applications.
• Experience developing physical and logical architecture, leveraging client template/process.
• At least 15 years of work experience demonstrating knowledge of z/OS, Assembly Language, DB2, QSAM, IMS, CA Endevor, BMC Control-M, JCL and other core IBM mainframe technologies.

Nice to have skills:

• Active client MBI Clearance Highly Desirable

OTHER SKILL/REQUIREMENT:

Required skills:

• Java, mainframe programming and migration
• z/OS
• Understanding Modernization Approaches
• Understanding Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Understanding Application analysis tools
• Strong communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
