Job Description: 
As the premier provider of kids haircuts as well as adults, Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids brings fun, excitement and expertise to haircuts. With soon to be over 1100 employees nationwide, we strive to provide professional services in a fun and exciting environment by friendly and experienced staff members. Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids Maple Valley/Black Diamond NEW SALON, is an upscale children's salon. If you are a highly motivated individual with high energy, Sharkey's Cuts for Kids is looking for YOU to be a part of our family! As a premier provider of children’s haircuts, Sharkey's is the place to be. We strive to provide professional services in a fun and exciting environment by friendly and experienced staff members. We believe everyone should have an enjoyable experience where "Haircuts are Cool and Fun Rules!" Our salon specialists should have a natural smile and upbeat attitude with a commitment to provide an unforgettable fun and exciting haircut experience for each of our client children and parents. Some of the responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Greet all guests and provide friendly, prompt, and exceptional service
• Manages the salon software, customer appointments and salon traffic flow
• Sell hair care products and keep retail shelves stocked
• Maintains health and safety of customers by following the laws and rules set forth by the state board of cosmetology/barbering
• Ensure the store is clean and tidy
• Assist stylists with washing and drying hair, cleaning up between appointments, doing mini-cures (painting nails)
• Report to Salon Manager and/or Salon Owner

Requirements:

• Outgoing and Agile
• Wear a smile
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Cosmetology license optional

Benefits: No late nights. Fun environment! Must be available on Weekends as well.
