Job Overview:

This role will be the lead for implementation of Integrated Business Planning process for MMS business unit and lead the S&OE team supporting supply execution based out of our plant in Tijuana. The MMS IBP Excellence role will work closely with the business unit on developing an integrated reconciliation process by partnering with EMI supply chain planning team, regional demand planning and platform finance team. In addition, this role will support the work on long-term capacity, portfolio segmentation and be key supply chain participant in platform engineering, project discussions. This role is directly responsible for partnering with platform to get allocation guidance that will allow EMI Swiss team to make supply decisions and provide supply response to regions. The Associate Director, MMS IBP Excellence will also be responsible for establishing governance around MMS supply chain master data activities, process changes and any system enhancements needed within MMS business unit landscape.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the S&OE global SC planning team & process and ensure execution of planning guidance provided by EMI Swiss Planning team.

  • Implement S&OE process with platform & region to ensure clear flow of communication process and supply visibility for region, provide gap closure actions being taken as determined by EMI Swiss planning team.

  • Partner closely with region to support allocations, field service critical issues and support any process improvement opportunities.

  • Partner with platform & EMI Swiss planning team to roll up IBP Integrated Reconciliation step. Identify any gaps to revenue based on demand or supply, provide insight to key stakeholders.

  • Help drive organizational adoption and acceptance of the IBP process for MMS platform.

  • Support supply accuracy metric by working closely with EMI SC planning leaders and driving performance improvement actions for supply accuracy.

  • Partner with EMI SC planning leaders on all critical supply chain metrics: Back order, E&O, Inventory $, OTIF. Monitor process KPI’s to ensure the business and the process is delivering stated objectives.  Ensure corrective action measures are identified and driven.

  • Participate in any needed financial reviews relevant to MMS. Partner with Finance as needed to ensure clarity of financials to support EMI Swiss Planning teams decision making.

  • Perform quarterly and annual assessments for team members.

  • Work with management steering team to identify, intensify, and resolve project barriers, risks, or issues.

  • Form and lead cross-functional teams as required to ensure issues and imbalances which occur during the supply cycle are cross functionally reviewed, resolved or raised with recommendations and alternatives for closure.

  • Provide Leadership Team members with information that supports decision making so that decisions align the company’s supply finance requirements and help the company deliver strategic objectives.

EDUCATION:

BS Supply Chain, Business Management, Finance, Engineering. MBA and / or advanced degree preferred

COMPETENCIES:

  • Minimum 8 years experience in supply chain management

  • Demonstrated ability to drive change management
