Overview 

The Senior Manager of HR Solutions Portfolio is tasked with aligning digital HR needs with business objectives, optimizing the HR solutions portfolio, driving digital maturity, and ensuring efficient project implementation of HR technologies. This pivotal role acts as a key liaison between HR Technology teams, business stakeholders, and the HR community, striving to enhance operations, data insights, and user experience. As the main point of contact for various domains, the Senior Manager will oversee project management activities, perform cost-benefit analyses, advocate for the adoption of existing solutions, and guide the deployment of new digital tools while coordinating efforts across diverse parties involved.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Align digital HR needs and strategic assessments with overarching business objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact (POC) for certain domains within the HR solutions portfolio.
  • Enhance HR operations by fostering straight-through processing, promoting existing solutions, and streamlining the HR solutions portfolio.
  • Serve as a liaison between HR Technology teams and the HR community, advocating for operational excellence and improved user experience.
  • Conduct thorough cost-benefit analyses and ROI assessments, ensuring the financial viability of HR technology investments.
  • Maintain an up-to-date map of all digital solutions within the HR portfolio and promote their effective utilization.
  • Lead project management efforts for the implementation and enhancement of HR technologies, providing strong program management support.
  • Advocate for Agile methodologies and provide necessary training and support to ensure team proficiency and project success.
  • Maintain and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the performance of HR solutions and projects.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree (MBA, etc.) preferred.

 
Related Work Experience:  

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in HR technology, project management, or a related field.
  • Strong background in human resource management processes and systems.
  • Experience in managing both technology-focused and non-technology-focused projects.
  • Proven ability to balance immediate needs with long-term strategic goals to deliver consistent results.

Travel: Limited travel required (approximately 10-20% - Globally).

Skills:   

  • Proficiency in SCRUM methodology and tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with HR solutions including Workday, ATS, LMS, Qualtrics, and other solutions like Power Platforms and Enterprise Platforms. 
  • Proven capability to seamlessly incorporate innovative technologies, enhance HR processes and align them with strategic goals.
  • Capacity to manage ambiguity and lead organizational change effectively, navigating complex challenges and implementing HR process improvements.
  • Advanced data analysis skills, providing critical insights to support informed executive decision-making.
  • Robust program and project management skills to ensure successful delivery.
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to multiple tasks within individual and concurrent projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the capability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and documentation creation skills.
  • Effective customer relationship management, with a solid understanding of business needs.
  • Experience working in diverse cultural environments.
