Position: Hospice and Palliative Care Clinical Liaison Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Richland, WA
Type: Full Time Non-Exempt
Anticipated Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm one on call shift per month

Position Overview:
The Hospice and Palliative Care Clinical Liaison Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a vital connection between patients, families, healthcare providers, facilities, and Tri-Cities Chaplaincy. This role is responsible for promoting access to hospice and palliative care services, ensuring timely and compassionate care coordination, and building strong relationships with referral sources and community partners. The Clinical Liaison RN provides clinical expertise, patient advocacy, and education while supporting the agency’s outreach and growth.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Current, unrestricted, Washington State license as a professional registered nurse.
2. Expertise in written and oral communication and Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation.
3. Ability to quickly adapt to changing situations and respond accordingly.
4. Ability to provide hospice education to facility staff members, patients, and families.
5. Willingness to travel within the community.
6. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
7. Must have reliable transportation and the ability to independently drive within Tri-Cities Chaplaincy’s service areas to provide in-home patient and family services and support in clients' homes, facilities, and community locations.
8. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, as driving is an essential function of this role. Must meet insurance eligibility requirements.
9. This position is designated as Safety Sensitive. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen which includes cannabis testing in Washington State.
10. Certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Safety (BLS)

Compensation
Hiring Range: $36.93/hour - $56.10/hour
Position Pay Range (or Salary Range): $36.93/hour - $70.17/hour
