Vice President of Food, Commercial
Key Purpose:
Vice President of Food, Commercial will be responsible for leading Guckenheimer’s national sales program and return on wellness program. This position will define the national sales strategic plan, develop new opportunities and have overall accountability for meeting national sales goals. Position requires an understanding of the corporate dining services.
Position Responsibilities:
- Embrace a sales and marketing effort from the ground up.
- Oversee development of collateral material.
- Develop a national database of prospects.
- Develop a system of categorization of prospects.
- Develop a comprehensive strategy for multiple levels of contact.
- Develop a national prospect outreach program.
- Design and implement a national PR campaign.
- Design and implement sales presentations.
- Involvement of supervision with the Company’s graphic arts department.
- Recruit, train, manage and develop a staff of sales team.
- Business Development through Return on Wellness Program.
- Develop annual budgets.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- At least 7 years of proven experience in sales and marketing involving Corporate Services.
- Exceptional writing skills and oral communication skills.
- Ability to solve problems.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and sound time management.
- Ability to get results.
- Cultivating new relationships with prospective clients.
- Ability to negotiate contracts.
- Ability to coordinate and complete requests for proposals.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of our services to communicate with prospective clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to be effective with front line employees, management, vendors, and clients.
- Good organizational skills, with strong attention for detail.
- Knowledge and strong skills using Microsoft office.
- Knowledge of Sales Force
Qualifications:
- College degree in Marketing or Business preferred.
- Seven years of experience in sales involving Corporate Services.
- Must be able to travel 50% of time throughout the United States
