Mental Health Worker, CAPS 40 hrs Days

<h2><b>Employment Type:</b></h2>Full time<h2><b>Shift:</b></h2>Day Shift<p></p><h1><b>Description:</b></h1><p>Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a <b>Mental Health Worker </b>to join our Behavioral Health team located at Mt Sinai Rehab Hospital.</p><p></p><p>The MHW is responsible for working in the Behavioral Health Unit to provide a safe and healthy treatment environment by providing direct patient care, observing patient behavior, collecting data, and providing group and individual interventions to assist the psychiatric patient towards recovery and <span>rehabilitation. </span> <span>     </span></p><p></p><p><b><i>You Will Be Responsible For:  </i></b></p><ul><li>Provides individualized patient care in a safe and effective manner.</li><li>Perform and document vital signs, ADLs, patient observations and other patient care activities.</li><li>Responds rapidly to emergency call lights and performs safety checks.</li><li>Communicate effectively with patient population.</li><li>Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.</li></ul><p><b>Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in the Human Services</li><li>Certification: AHA CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers </li><li>Possesses a broad practical understanding of life experiences and the ability to relate to emotionally ill individuals.</li><li>Prior experience preferred. </li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks.  Maintain <span>confidentiality. </span> Good problem-solving skills.</li></ul><p><b>Highlights:</b></p><ul><li><b>40 hours, Day Shift</b></li><li>Become a valued member of an excellent, dedicated health care team</li><li>Competitive Benefits Package effective on first day</li><li>Generous shift differentials</li></ul><p></p><p><b>About Mount Sinai Rehab Hospital:</b></p><p>Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital’s Behavioral Health Services include a full range of mental health and substance abuse treatment programs for all ages.</p><p>We have a dedicated, multidisciplinary team approach to developing an individualized plan of care for each patient.
