What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Perform basic contract administration functions for civil transportation projects
- Import information into Materials Acceptance and Certification Program (MAC)
- Perform measurement of completed work to date
- Reads and comprehends contract documents
- Keep inspectors’ daily reports of assigned work activities
- Prepare monthly construction estimates
- Monitor construction progress to assure proper installation sequences and compliance with schedule and contract requirements and state and local regulations
- Assist in the review and modifications of schedules, specifications and drawings. Prepare Supplemental Agreements and Work Orders per FDOT Specifications
- Monitor EEO compliance documents
- Assist Project Administrator documenting meeting minutes
What your experience looks like
- Engineering Degree or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of road & bridge construction engineering inspection (CEI) experience having performed/assisted in project related duties.
- Candidates must be able to exercise independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to the office aspects of the project.
- Candidates must have experience on Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Expressway Authority, or other Federal Highway Administration funded projects
- Candidates must be proficient in all computer programs required to perform the duties of this position.
- Required CTQP Certifications: Final Estimates Level 1 and 2
- MS Word / Excel software proficiency required.
