Senior Manager, Warehouse Operations

POSITION SUMMARY

We’re looking for an exceptional strategic operations leader to manage and scale inventory management functions throughout TransMedics’ warehouse and distribution network. The Senior Manager will oversee critical aspects of the End-to-End Supply Chain spanning from receiving inbound materials to finished goods fulfillment. They will be responsible for implementing best-in-class processes and transform operational efficiency across the Supply Chain Organization.

To execute effectively, this candidate must excel at leading teams, forming collaborative partnerships, clear communication, and organizational discipline. In addition, the Sr. Manager must be strategic and project-oriented to drive transformational initiatives around Logistics Services, Field Returns, Scanning Enhancements, Workflow/Design Optimization, and WMS implementation.

This Leadership role will be based in Andover, MA, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Integrated Planning and Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Build a best-in-class organization by maximizing the impact of our People, Processes, and Technology
• Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, processing, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and Good Distribution Practices (GDP)
• Stand up a returns processing operation in collaboration with Technical Service and Quality.
• Enhance tools and systems to monitor and transact inventory in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
• Oversee Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementation
• Document and Implement streamlined warehouse procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Supervise and train staff to execute TransMedics procedures
• Set performance targets, measure success, and provide clear feedback in performance reviews
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet service level needs and prioritize deliverables
• Evaluate operational output to configure ideal Space & Workflow Optimization
• Analyze data to optimize Resource Productivity & Cost Efficiency
• Manage a budget for equipment and resource needs
• Perform other TransMedics tasks and duties as assigned/required.                                                 ��                                                                             

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS                                                         

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related Field
• 10+ years experience in Supply Chain Operations
• 5+ years Warehouse Supervision
• Experience utilizing Scanning & Automation Technologies
• Expert ERP & WMS knowledge

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA or equivalent Graduate Level Degree
• Experience in Medical device or regulated industry
• ISO 13485, CSCP, or Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Advanced Analytical Skills (Power BI, Tableau, etc)
