Position Summary:
As Project Manager, Corporate and Business Development you will support Corp Dev Leadership Team to track and report activities and deliverables for M&A integration and certain strategic partnerships in planning, in process, and in execution.
*This person must reside in San Diego and commute to our La Jolla HQ on an as needed basis. Illumina offers hybrid work arrangements.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain current dashboards and reports showcasing the key deals in progress with appropriate levels of information for the leadership team of Corporate & Business Development to use at the Executive level, Stakeholder level and for specific governance meetings
- Develop and maintain centralized location for all deal pipeline dashboards, documents, tools and reports for appropriate CBD Leadership access
- Supports project management of M&A integration projects including planning and tracking and assisting the integration leader with program management
- Manages low and moderately complex projects where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships
- Develops project plans with the deal owner for projects across CD including M&A, partnerships. Proposes process, timeline, milestones. Once the project plan is agreed, implements the calendar and coordinates to the timeline.
Preferred Education/Experience:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience.

The estimated base salary range for the Project Manager, Corporate Development (Hybrid) role based in the United States of America is: $67,000 - $100,600. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
