Columbia State Community College is seeking qualified individuals to join our part-time Security Guard pool. Security Guards help maintain a safe and secure environment for students, employees, and visitors by supporting campus safety operations as needed.

Additional Details:

  • Duties may include monitoring campus facilities, patrolling grounds, responding to incidents, and assisting with emergency procedures. Work assignments, schedules, and location will vary based on departmental needs.
  • Positions are temporary and based on the immediate needs of the college.
  • Weekly hours will vary by assignment but will not exceed 29 hours per week.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to communicate effectively and respond calmly in emergency situations
  • Prior security or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required
