POSITION OVERVIEW

The Compensation Analyst reports to the VP, Head of Compensation, and will join our Boston Office on the Human Resources/Total Rewards team. The position is open to candidates from an analytical field of study.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist in the implementation, administration and analysis of compensation programs, policies, and projects
• Participates in compensation survey processes to gather and analyze market data to evaluate roles and maintain the competitiveness of our salary, bonus and equity programs
• Provides analysis to support the development, implementation and communication of Global Atlantic’s compensation program
• Supports compensation reviews and recommendations related to new hires, merit increases, promotions, and other increases
• Helps to ensure accuracy and functionality of data and systems used in the compensation function, including supporting HRIS integration project
• Assists in the maintenance of Global Atlantic’s job catalog, including job leveling and job pricing
• Administers equity program
• Performs ad-hoc compensation analyses
• Supports the development and preparation of presentations
• Collaborates with other HR teams and other departments to respond to client needs

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Self-motivated, analytical problem solver who is detail-oriented and eager to grow professionally within the Compensation field
• Undergraduate degree, preferably in an analytic field
• Strong quantitative/technical abilities and organizational skills Collaborative team player capable of building partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High energy with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure
• Outstanding academic record and high level of personal integrity
• Flexible and creative; comfortable managing multiple workstreams and projects concurrently
• Ability to maintain the highest level of responsibility, confidentiality, and sensitivity in handling data
• Demonstrated advanced analytical/Excel skills (e.g. working with large data sets, analyzing correlation, pivot tables, complex formulas, charts)
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
• Tableau knowledge a plus

Various jurisdictions have passed pay transparency laws that require companies provide salary ranges for any positions for which they are accepting applications. Global Atlantic has offices in Atlanta, Batesville, Bermuda, Boston, Des Moines, Hartford, Indianapolis, and New York City. The base salary range posted below is inclusive of the lowest cost of living geography to the highest in which we have a Global Atlantic office. 

Global Atlantic’s base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range.
