About you
Dow ES&S has an exciting opportunity for a Senior ES&S Delivery Leader to support our Hahnville, LA location. As the Senior ES&S Delivery Leader, you will identify, develop, and lead the resources necessary for efficient and effective implementation of the ES&S management systems and work processes. You will work closely with the ES&S, Site Leadership, and other key stakeholders to perform role. The delivery leader will lead one or more teams of professional individual contributors which may also include technical operations, business operations, or operational support employees. You may also lead other supervisors. You set priorities and allocate resources to align with business objectives and plans of execution. Responsibilities
- Ensure work and emergency response activities are executed safely in alignment with Dow Standards.
- Ensure ES&S work processes, standards, and procedures are effectively maintained and applied. This includes ownership of all site emergency plans/processes and security assessments.
- Provide leadership and coaching to ES&S personnel to facilitate personnel development and continuous improvement in performance and teamwork.
- Provide emergency management and crisis management coaching. This includes engagement and facilitation of the Site Emergency Managers Network and the development and implementation of drills and exercises to test and maintain site and department preparedness.
- Responsible for cost-effective delivery of ES&S services through use of standard work processes and implementation of common systems.
- Implement annual and long-term capital projects and develop annual budgets. Operate the department within these guidelines and conduct regular analysis to ensure costs are in compliance with budgetary and functional guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local and company requirements related to ES&S operations.
- Ensure integration of site emergency and crisis plans with business, functional, and external crisis plans.
- Establish effective relationships with Industrial Park partners as well as key external stakeholders such as local and state emergency management agencies and responders.
- Consult with and support the ES&S Expertise Center to ensure alignment with the ES&S functional strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree OR relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E6 ranking OR Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class ranking AND 5 or more years Emergency services and security, EH&S, manufacturing, or other related experience required.
- In lieu of a degree and 5+ years' experience, candidate must possess at least 10 years relevant industry experience to qualify.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years’ experience in the industry preferred.
- Prior Leadership experience is a plus.
