Senior HR Generalist (Temporary)

About this team: 

Liftoff is seeking a temporary Senior HR Generalist to join our People Operations Team and provide additional support for project related needs. The People Operations team is responsible for complete global people operations support including: managing the HR distribution list, leave management, benefits support and administration, employee onboarding and offboarding, immigration and People Programs. We strive to offer a best-in-class employee experience to all of our employees globally. You will provide support primarily for the America’s region but will also be responsible for assisting in various people related  programs that impact our global population. This includes assisting with 401(k) Audit, updating and implementing new processes for our HRIS system (UKG), analysis of FLSA compliance and other projects as assigned.  

 

Target contract dates: September 1st, 2023 - December 1st, 2023

 

Location:

This role eligible for full-time remote work out of one of the following states: 

• California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon,  Rhode Island, Texas, Utah, and Washington

 

Responsibilities: 

• Audit, Update and Manage contractor and employee data in our global HRIS system, UKG/Ultipro

• Ensure compliance and integrity of existing employee data 

• Research, develop and implement HR policies and procedures

• Collaborate cross functionally to determine best practices for HR processes

• Manage multiple project timelines and provide updates weekly and reports as needed

• Collect existing documentation and prepare recommendations to management

• Support the team during Performance and Compensation cycles

• Support benefits administration and partner with our international benefits partners in the Americas.

• Collaborate to help implement effective company-wide people processes and improve those we already have in place

 

Requirements: 

• Bring 5+  years of HR Generalist experience, experiencing working in fast paced technology environments preferred

• Experience managing global HR systems, preferably UKG/Ultipro

• Prior experience with benefit administration, audit, and analysis in the US 

• Value workplace integrity at all times

• Convey a customer-focused attitude and service with high level of professionalism and discretion

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as an ability to give and receive open, constructive feedback in a way that cultivates trust and respect

• Proven analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills

 

The minimum pay for this position in the US depends on the location and falls in the following zones:

SF Bay Area, New York City, Los Angeles, Orange County: $55 per hour
Seattle/Olympia, Austin, Boston, San Diego, Santa Barbara: $50

All other cities in our approved to hire states: $47
