Senior IT Manager (Windows Server)

About your role:

In this role, you will perform a wide range of technical duties associated with Linux, Windows, Solaris and AIX operating systems in a physical and virtualized environments across multiple Datacenters. Some of those duties include 24X7 systems administration, compliance management, immediate response, and/or investigation of system alerts in a complex network environment, monitor system performance and take initiative-taking corrective action to ensure maximum system availability is achieved. You will guide and manage operational responsibilities and day to day direction of the Technology Operations team in support of hosted Fiserv clients globally.

What you’ll do:

  • Exhibit strong leadership skills, will be forward thinking, initiative-taking, and be able to work effectively in a diverse, exceptionally talented team, continuously striving for excellence.
  • Lead the 24x7 operational teams responsible for the stability, maintenance, and compliance management of the systems platform.
  • Partner with engineering and delivery teams to ensure solution onboarding and operational processes align.
  • Provide guidance to ensure that all operational activity runs smoothly and that the team is working at its highest level of productivity with the resources needed to succeed.
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to ensure that all operational activity is appropriate, complies with regulations and standards, and coordinate to meet change, release, incident, and problem management standards.
  • Seek opportunities to improve the efficiency of the teams resolves challenges by analyzing issues, assisting the team to determine the most appropriate course of action, providing direction and, when necessary, reallocating resources.
  • Identify opportunities for system automation and process improvement.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, executives, and peers.

Experience you’ll need to have:

  • 7+ years of previous infrastructure/system engineering or operations experience in heterogeneous environments.
  • 6+ years of experience working in a lead or manager capacity.
  • 6+ years of experience in designing, installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting of Windows/Linux Infrastructure and systems security in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud computing and web-based product maintenance, development, and test.
  • 3+ experience with incident management, change management and problem management as it relates to information technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and/or equivalent military experience.

How you’ll work:

  • This role requires being on-call during non-standard and/or overnight hours on a rotational basis.
  • This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.

Salary Range

$120,000.00 - $198,000.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

For incentive eligible associates, the successful candidate is eligible for an annual incentive opportunity which may be delivered as a mix of cash bonus and equity awards in the Company’s sole discretion.
