You’ll help design, build, and maintain the platform that makes our payments faster, more cost-efficient, and more scalable. Working with a talented global engineering team, you’ll tackle complex technical challenges, collaborate across disciplines, and deliver solutions with real-world impact.

The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Sr. Software Engineer I, ideally with a FinTech background, to join our team. You’ll work on designing new features, optimising performance, and improving scalability—while keeping quality, security, and maintainability front and centre. This is a hands-on role that combines problem-solving, technical excellence, and collaboration.

What You’ll Do

• Write clean, secure, testable, and maintainable code.
• Solve challenging bugs and production issues in complex environments.
• Analyse problems in depth, evaluate multiple solutions, and implement the best approach.
• Drive improvements across the full development lifecycle.
• Ensure applications deliver the highest performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, QAs, SREs, and stakeholders to shape product vision.
• Work closely with teams across the globe, understanding their needs and building shared solutions.
• Support your peers, mentor junior developers, and promote a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years in web application development.
• Experience building scalable, performant, and reliable distributed systems.
• Skilled in TDD, BDD, and CI/CD best practices.
• Strong understanding of OOP and relational databases.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience in FinTech or payments (preferred).
• A fast learner with a passion for delivering high-quality code.
