We’re looking for an experienced back-end developer with the software engineering skills it takes to identify potential risks, contribute to solution development, and create efficient and effective systems for our clients. 

As a back-end developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to deliver solutions. Using your software engineering experience, you’ll work with the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability. In this role, you’ll make a mission-forward impact as you further your skillset and career. You Have:

• Experience with development of web-services using Python and Node.js against big-data technologies

• Experience with programming languages, including JavaScript or Typescript, and a framework, including Angular, React, or Vue, building HTML and CSS, or Java Spring, or with usability analysis or automated testing development, including Unit and E2E

• Experience with switching between different languages and learning new ones, as needed

• TS/SCI clearance

• HS diploma or GED

• Ability to obtain 8570 Compliance Security+ Certification within 6 months of start date

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipeline creation or Jenkins

• Experience with Software development against Cloud Services, including Azure or AWS

• Experience working with various intelligence disciplines, including GEOINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, and SIGINT

• Experience with testing frameworks, including Jasmine, Karma, or Selenium 

• Experience with command-line scripting

• Experience with using JavaScript visualization libraries, including D3, Leaflet, CytoscapeJS, and VizJS

• Knowledge of the data and tools associated with various intelligence disciplines, including GEOINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, and SIGINT

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
