Junior Sous Chef

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
• Help in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes
• Manage inventory and assist in the ordering of supplies
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Participate in menu development and special events
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a culinary role, preferably in hotels or fine dining restaurants
• Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene practices
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Passion for culinary arts and creativity in food presentation
