F&B Server

This role provides friendly, responsive service, creating an exceptional dining experience for all guests. Servers at the beautiful Cliff Top Grill are responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, processing payments, and resolving guest concerns. 

Responsibilities 

• Present menus to guests and answer questions about menu items, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services 

• Inform guests of menu changes and daily specials and make recommendations  

• Monitor guests’ dining experience, ensuring guests are satisfied with the food and service 

• Respond promptly and courteously to address any concerns 

• Write guests’ food orders on order slips and enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff 

• Check guests’ identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages 

• Retrieve orders from the kitchen and serve food or beverages to guests 

• Prepare checks and collect payments from guests 

• Clean and sanitize tables or counters after guests have finished dining. 

• Set up drink stations or set up dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties 

• Stock service areas  

• Assist host or hostess by greeting, seating, and thanking guests 

• Assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant 

• Communicate guest needs to bartenders and managers as necessary 

• Attends all necessary F&B training classes 

• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications 

• Positive Attitude 

• Previous server experience preferred 

• Must be at least 18 years old  

• Must be able to obtain TABC license 

• Available to work days, nights, weekends and holidays 

Physical Requirements 

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.; can push, pull, grasp, lift, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, crouch, crawl and stand for long periods of time. 

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
