Claims & Loss Prevention Analyst Manager

Position Summary:

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Claims & Loss Prevention Analyst Manager to lead investigations, analyze loss trends, and manage the lifecycle of customer and internal claims across our quick lube service centers. This role plays a critical part in identifying root causes of loss, developing actionable insights, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. It combines claims oversight, forensic data analysis, and compliance auditing to reduce risk and drive accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee customer damage, injury, and service-related claims, ensuring proper documentation, liability review, and resolution.
• Analyze historical and real-time data (POS, claims, safety reports) to detect fraud, identify operational risk patterns, and support loss prevention initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis of denied, escalated, or high-dollar claims and communicate findings to key stakeholders.
• Develop reports and dashboards to track claim frequency, severity, and trends by region, location, and claim type.
• Partner with insurance carriers, legal, and field leadership to manage risk exposure and support accurate claim settlements.
• Audit transactions, cash handling, safety compliance, and claim submission practices to ensure procedural adherence.
• Lead and support investigations into missing deposits, excessive voids, inventory issues, or suspected internal theft.
• Train field teams on documentation, claim prevention, and compliance expectations to strengthen frontline accountability.
• Assist in refining SOPs and claims workflows to ensure consistency, transparency, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, etc.).

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years in claims investigation, loss prevention analytics, or risk/compliance management (automotive/retail industry preferred).
• Strong skills in Excel, Google Sheets, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Working knowledge of claims handling systems, POS platforms, and compliance auditing tools.
• Investigative mindset with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple investigations and audits simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel regionally (up to 30%).
