RCS-Business Analyst (Strategic Vendor Management)

The RCS Business Analyst develops contract price modeling and development from contract pricing proposals including operational requirements and other business inputs. Manages the annual vendor budget development and interim forecasts calculating expense projections by year for the portfolio of Revenue Cycle vendors. Translates contract language into requirements and values that can be modeled for business case scenarios and management decision making. Vendor dashboard management and enhancement to vendor scorecard and other assessment methodologies. Contract and vendor relationship management for select vendors, negotiating contract terms pricing structure, collaborating with internal business partners.
Ideal Candidate – Has foundational skills in finance and business operations. Has experience with contracts and other aspects of strategic vendor management. Has demonstrated competency in developing business case analyses. Demonstrated track record of developing project-based analyses as well as on-demand quick-turnaround assessments. Is capable of working in a self-directed environment where they are able to manage day-to-day tasks to provide project deliverables in a timely manner.

Financial Analysis & Support Functions -Performs routine and ad-hoc analysis in support of Revenue Cycle operations. Identifies and researches performance variances and support root cause analysis in collaboration with operational departments. Retains documentation of performance outliers based on established thresholds. Supports execution of internal and external financial transactions where applicable.
Partnership Development - Builds partnerships and cooperative agreements that establish credibility with the hospital, stakeholders, and outside entities. Provides customer focused service delivery environments. Creates useful communication and data exchange to all users and recipients of the data provided.
Quality Assurance -Reviews reports and other work products prior to distribution to ensure that published data is complete and without error. Demonstrates initiative in assessing and resolving potential errors with any and all relevant stakeholders.

• Bachelors degree preferred. Requires proficiency in MS Excel and Access. Experience in a healthcare, accounting or corporate finance setting strongly preferred.
