Senior Director, Gaming Cloud Security

Are you highly interested in Cyber security and raising the security bar?  Do you enjoy working across the company on unique solutions for a variety of areas related to Gaming? Does working with Security Analysts, Developers, and Program Management across a variety of areas excite you?   If so, the Gaming Security team would like to talk to you. 

Our team supports the services, platform, and studios that make up the Gaming business.  In addition, we work with other Security teams within the company to ensure that we have the right tools and services to protect these key businesses.   

We are looking for a Senior Director, Gaming Cloud Security - to help us develop cloud solutions that help secure our business by partnering and engaging with engineering teams to improve our security posture.  

This is a diverse role which requires the leader to have a balance as a partner working across Microsoft counterparts (Corporate and Cloud Solutions) to ensure that we have the right tools and services to protect the Gaming business.  

The successful candidate will have passion for security, collaboration skills, technical depth, coupled with the ability to bring others together in developing common solutions.  Effective communication skills and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous and dynamic environment are necessary. Responsibilities

• Lead through model, coach, care, a team of security professionals. 

• Develop strategic agenda across the organization ensuring alignment and accountability to industry standard framework (NIST) for all cloud solutions. 

• Drive proactive security measures across diverse cloud environments.  

• Envision and architect high-quality distributed services, infrastructures, and components to enable security for our Gaming businesses 

• Partner with Microsoft Gaming, Microsoft Security, and partners to ensure ongoing alignment, engineering dependencies, and build solutions 

• Development of detailed roadmaps to coordinate the efforts of the engineering teams 

• Effectively collaborate across large organizations and multi-disciplinary teams 

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of software industry and cross-company best practices, technologies, architectures, and emerging technologies, and how these can apply to our product, business, service, and technology stack.  

• Design process and Operational Improvement opportunities across Security Compliance Programs.  

• Provide strategic Cloud Security Architecture guidance to studios and business teams

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
  • OR equivalent experience.
