Essential Functions
- Respond to inbound calls on technical issues external customers are experiencing with QubicaAMF products.
- Work with diagrams and manuals to resolve wiring issues
- Diagnosis and fix mechanical failures preventing machines from operating
- Partner with your peers to increase overall knowledge of our product line
- Provide remote support to our field installation crews
- Initiate warranty claims
- Interface with our Engineering team to gain an understanding of newly developed products
- Other duties assigned by management
- This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
- Previous maintenance, repair, electrical, mechanical, or troubleshooting experience.
- An understanding of hand tools, power tools, and meters.
- Excellent communication (written and oral) skills.
- Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
- The desire and ability to learn new technology.
- This job is in an office environment. For training purposes, the position may enter a warehouse, engineering facility, bowling center, or other off-site areas. When outside of the office, proper safety gear, including steel or alloy-toed safety shoes, is required.
- The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Some travel for training purposes may occur.
- High School Diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Prior experience working on mechanical systems preferred.
- Prior experience working on electrical systems preferred.
- Prior experience reading wiring diagrams preferred.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and meters.
