Data Analyst in Wholesale Bank Data Collection Team

We are looking for you, if you:

• want to support Wholesale Bank Data Collection Team with insight about data and data processing skills,

• like working with other Analysts from all over the world on understanding the data,

• have experience in gathering and analyzing data requirements and, based on them, preparing the data,

• have min. 3 years of experience working in business analysis, data analytics or data science,

• have min. 3 years hands-on experience working with SQL and SAS,

• are able to identify problems, analyzing key information and making connections, in order to find appropriate solutions,

• are good at establishing plans to determine tasks, priorities, and timelines and identifying the resources needed to achieve goals,

• want to support Data Delivery Team with insight about data and data processing skills.

You will get extra points, if you have:

• worked in Agile environment, and you know how to make it a real part of your job,

• experience working in a bank, financial institution or other institution regulated by the government,

• experience in credit risk,

• knowledge about credit risk models (PD, LGD, EAD, IFRS9, IRB),

• strong SAS programming skills (preferably SAS Enterprise Guide),

• experience with GIT or other version control systems,

• good understanding of regulatory requirements,

• hands-on experience working with Analytical Base Tables (ABTs).

Your responsibilities:

• data analysis and delivery,

• data processing, quality assessment, structuring and all other  tasks related to data,

• finding discrepancies in the data and proposing solutions to the problems by conducting various analyses in 4GL/SQL,

• conducting Data Quality Tests,

• gathering requirements from our stakeholders regarding data structures

• creating documentation related to the data (Data Plans and other data documentation required for Model Life Cycle),

• reviewing data structures from the analytical point of view,

• checking with Model Owners/Model Developers/Validators whether all the assumptions in the created data structures are in line with their expectations.

Information about squad:

As Data Analyst in our team you will be responsible for all data related topics in one of the squads in Wholesale Bank Data Collection Team. The team is responsible for data gathering, processing and delivery for model development, monitoring and validation purposes. In squad we closely cooperate with Model Owners/Model Developers/Validators with all topics related to model life cycle.

We gain knowledge about data we collect in ING Group, analyze it and prepare prototypes of new data structures that will be used further in the process. We have expertise about the data and in-depth understanding what information can be extracted from it. As Data Analyst you will have crucial role to play in delivering high quality data to other participants of risk processes (i.e. credit risk modelers, validators and many others).
